YPA Awards Announced for 2018 Mentoring Program

Congratulations to our 2018 Mentoring Program winners!

YPA is pleased to announce the award winners for our 2018 Mentoring Program. Our theme, “Silence“, was enthusiastically embraced by a group of young artists participating in five cities across the United States. Here are the recipients with links to their winning submissions.

Entries were judged based on expression of theme, strength of images, and impact of the essay message. Awards were granted based on the submission receiving the highest score when tallying all scores from our panel of judges:

Thanks to our major founding sponsor, the American Society of Media Photographers and local ASMP chapters, six teams met in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego and Portland, Oregon where mentors worked with mentees in interpreting this theme.
