Yes, you'll need a YPA21 Membership in order to apply for our next Mentoring Program and to attend our Educational Lectures.
~ Anyone aged 18–29
~ Recent graduates (within two years)
~ Students currently enrolled in an accredited college photography course
~ Professionals who have actively been pursuing a photography career for no more than three years.
Your YPA21 Membership is valid for one year. When your membership is about to expire, we’ll contact you to see if you wish to renew.

No, you will need to apply for the programs you'd like to be considered for. Whenever we launch a new program, all YPA members will be notified so that you can submit an application for consideration at that time.
No. Once you’ve paid your $21 YPA21 Membership fee, there are no other costs associated with applying for any of the YPA programs.

Currently, all YPA programs focus on College students. High School Seniors may apply to join a YPA program once they are accepted into a college program. In the past, we have awarded several scholarships to college freshmen. We recommend checking out the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, which have a number of programs and awards for Middle and High School Students.
